Our journey began with our wonderful Springer Spaniel, Lily.
Five years ago, Lily was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Pemphigus Foliaceus. It was a worrying time for us, and like many dog owners, we wanted to do everything we could to support her health and wellbeing.
As we researched more about the condition, we also started paying much closer attention to what we were feeding our dogs. We were surprised by how many treats contained artificial ingredients, unnecessary additives and fillers, so we made the decision to switch to more natural, high-quality options in both their food and treats.
That experience completely changed the way we think about dog treats.
Fast forward five years, and Lily and Max are happy, healthy and full of their usual spaniel energy. They continue to inspire everything we do at Pawfect Snacks.
